If you are looking for a friendly club which can offer an active Women’s section of all ages and all abilities, then Marple Golf Club is just what you are looking for. We have a beautiful parkland course which offers panoramic views where you can play golf, have fun and stay fit.

Marple Golf Club is for everyone. We have signed the Women in Golf Charter, and our commitments to enhance the experience for Women's Golf can be accessed below.

We welcome all levels of golfers and whether you are a beginner or play off scratch new members will always receive a very warm welcome. Our 'buddy' system is designed to help introduce you to the club and ensure that you will always have someone to play with.

There are lots of opportunities for women, whether working or not and you are able to get a game either at the weekend or during the week.

The course is relatively flat with attractive holes to suit golfers of all abilities and is accessible to people of all ages and abilities.

If you are a beginner, we are running a series of group sessions for women and girls where you will get to know other members and be assigned a buddy to help you along your way.

Do you like competitions?

We offer a full schedule of competitions which include medals, stablefords, 4BBB and matchplay.

In addition there are team fixtures, roll-ups and mixed competitions aimed at players of all standards. We compete in various leagues and friendly matches against other clubs and have a number of fun competitions.

Free Golf

A membership at Marple Golf Club has the added bonus of free golf at some other courses in the area and we are part of the 1892 group of clubs who were all founded in that year where you can have a courtesy round.

It’s not just the golf

We have excellent bar and catering facilities and enjoy magnificent views across the course and surrounding countryside. We also have a vibrant social calendar with away days, weekends away, fundraising events and mixed events.

How to become a member

There are a variety of membership categories and rates available, with flexible payment options to suit all requirements and budgets, academy membership for beginners and discounted rates for juniors.
